Cajun Black-eyed Pea Dip



1 stick butter
2 (15-oz.) cans black-eyed peas, undrained
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
3/4 cup chopped ham
2 T. cajun blackened seasoning
2 to 3 dashes Tabasco
Cayenne pepper to taste


Melt butter in saucepan and add peas, onion, bell pepper and cheeses. Stir until cheese is melted and peas are slightly thickened; add ham and seasonings. Serve warm with tortilla chips. Reheats well.
