Baked Ham



1 whole bone-in ham (no substitutions) 1 (2-liter) bottle regular cola


Place ham in deep roasting pan. Pour 3/4 of the cola over the ham. Cover with heavy aluminum foil. Seal tightly and bake at 425 degrees for 1 hour. Reduce heat to 250 degrees and continue cooking for 11 more hours (easy to do overnight). Remove from oven and cool. Pull apart and cut in serving-size pieces to serve. Use for sandwiches or as a main course. Leftover ham freezes well.
