Asparagus with Garlic Mustard

1 lb. asparagus spears, trimmed 1/4 cup butter or margarine 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms 2 T. Dijon mustard 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper 1/8 tsp. salt 1 tsp. minced garlic


In a 10-inch skillet, place asparagus spears. Add enough water to cover. Bring to a full boil. Cook over medium heat 5 to 7 minutes or until asparagus is tender crisp. Drain. Return to skillet. Add butter, mushrooms, mustard, pepper, salt and garlic, pushing asparagus to the side just until butter is melted. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly heated. Yield: 4 to 6 servi
