Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef 1 cup diced onion 1 cup julienned carrots 1 cup chopped celery 2 cloves garlic, pressed 2 (14.5-oz.) cans diced tomatoes 1 (15-oz.) can tomato sauce 1 Tbsp. white vinegar 1 (15-oz.) can red kidney beans, with liquid 1 (15-oz.) can great northern beans, with liquid 1 (12-oz.) can V-8 juice 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dried basil 1 tsp. dried oregano 1/2 tsp. dried thyme 1/2 lb. (12-oz. pkg.) ditalini pasta, or small pasta shells

Instructions

Brown meat; drain off most fat. Add onion, carrot, celery and garlic; saute 10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients except pasta; simmer 1 hour. Cook pasta al dente. Drain and add to pot; simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
