Slow Cooker Reese’s Peanut Butter Cake

1 box yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1 cup water
1/3 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup chocolate syrup

3 Tbsp. peanut butter
3 Tbsp. milk
1 cup powdered sugar
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, broken into pieces


Grease inside of slow cooker. Combine cake mix, eggs, water, butter and peanut butter, blending well. Reserve 2/3 cup batter; stir chocolate syrup into reserved batter. Pour half of batter into slow cooker. Pour chocolate (reserved) batter on top, then pour in remaining batter. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours. To make topping, mix peanut butter, milk and powdered sugar until blended. When cake is done, pour topping in and sprinkle with Reese’s pieces. Serve warm.
