Blonde Brownies

Ingredients

1 cup broken pecans, dredged in a little flour 1 1/2 sticks margarine or butter 1 cup dark brown sugar 1 cup granulated sugar 1 1/2 cups sifted flour 2 eggs, well beaten 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 (6-oz.) package semi-sweet chocolate drops

Instructions

Melt in double boiler the margarine or butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. When cool add beaten eggs, then flour, salt, vanilla and pecans. Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan. Sprinkle with chocolate drops. Bake at 325 degrees for about 35 minutes. When cool, cut into squares. Makes about 2 dozen.
