Chiles Rellenos Bake

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef 1 onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 4 (4-oz.) cans whole green chilies 3 cups grated Cheddar cheese 4 eggs 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 1 1/2 cups milk 1 tsp. salt 1/2 to 3/4 tsp. Tony Chachere’s Seasoning or 1/4 tsp. Tabasco 2 cups grated Monterey Jack cheese

Instructions

Brown ground beef in skillet with onion and garlic; drain. Lay chilies from 2 cans, opened flat, in the bottom of a 9-by-13-inch casserole dish. (Remove seeds, if necessary.) Spoon meat mixture over chilies. Spread Cheddar cheese on top of meat. Place the remaining chilies, opened flat, on top of Cheddar cheese.
