Baked Cheese Grits

Ingredients

4 cups water 1/2 tsp. salt 1 cup grits 3 T. flour 1 cup shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese 1/4 cup chopped green onion 1 tsp. minced garlic 1 cup egg substitute

Instructions

Boil the water and add the salt and grits. Cook, covered, over low heat for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, heat the oven to 350 degrees. Stir the flour, cheese, green onion, garlic and egg substitute into the grits. Pour into a nonstick baking pan and bake for 30 minutes. Serves 6; 187 calories per 1-cup serving.
