Candied Carrots

Ingredients

1 lb. fresh carrots 3 T. butter 3 T. brown sugar 3 T. water Salt and pepper

Instructions

Clean carrots and slice. Place in boiling water and cook until just barely tender. Remove from heat and drain. Return to pan and add butter, sugar and water. Place on low heat until butter and sugar caramelize. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately. Serves 4 to 6.
