East Mississippi Electric Power Association is an electric distribution cooperative that serves more than 37,950 meters throughout eastern Mississippi. East Mississippi Electric Power Association was incorporated in 1938. Today, East Mississippi Electric has grown to provide electrical service to more than 37,950 meters with close to 5,770 miles of electrical line. The service area includes Clarke, Kemper, Lauderdale and Winston counties and portions of surrounding counties.
