  • 1 can of chickpeas (drained and rinsed) 
  • 1/4 onion, diced
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced (or 1/2 bell pepper for milder taste)
  • 1 small dill pickle, diced
  • 2 tablespoons mayo 
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Chickpeas tossed in a homemade dressing in a white bowl


Add all ingredients into a large bowl and mix well and chill. (Optional, you can use a potato masher or fork to partially mash chickpeas before adding seasonings for a different texture.) Serve in a wrap, eat with crackers, or on top of a salad.
