The Farmhouse Kitchen: Don't Forget Thanksgiving Pie
Makes 1(one) 9-inch pie
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 cup white Karo syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell (frozen, refrigerated, or homemade)
Directions
Mix all ingredients well. Bake in an unbaked pie shell at 325 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes. Do not over-bake. Allow to cool before slicing.
